A Trip to Another Galaxy

Otherwise known as, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

I have never been a huge Star Wars fan; however, after experiencing Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios, I have a new appreciation. I felt as though I had entered an entirely new place and atmosphere after walking through the entrance tunnel. The surroundings and background make it seem as though you are not in Florida anymore.

While riding the famous "Rise of the Resistance" ride was at the top of my list, the 165 minute wait was not so appealing. So instead, my sister and I decided to make our way over to the exact replica of the "millennium falcon" (image below).

As we walked around the corner we saw a sign for Oga's Cantina and decided to try it out for a quick drink and snack. If you have seen Star Wars movies, it is exactly as the cantina looks in the movie and includes a spin off of the drinks and food they have.

We decided to order a Blue Bantha and Batuu Bits. Overall the Blue Bantha was a 7/10 and the Batuu Bits were a 8/10. We also picked up a Diet Coke on the way out, but it was not your average looking bottle...(see image below).

So, entering a new "galaxy" was quite the experience. And while we did not get to experience the insanely popular attractions within Galaxy's Edge I am sure we will be back soon. Until then though, "may the force be with you."
