What I eat in a day...around the "world."

Disney's Epcot is well known for its World Showcase. The World Showcase is made up of 11 pavilions each themed for a different country. The countries include: Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Morocco, Japan, the United States, Italy, Germany, China, Norway and Mexico.

The World Showcase is famously known for having food and drinks specific to each country for park-goers to try throughout the day. So, last Friday, my family and I ate and drank around the world.

We started off around 11 a.m. in Canada with a maple, apple, and bourbon drink called the "Ottowa Apple." Overall, the drink was a 6/10 because the flavors were a little too sweet. Next up, the United Kingdom we decided to get "chips" (known as fries in the U.S.). Pretty basic food to try but a solid 8/10. We decided to skip over France and came back later, so next was Morocco. We decided to sit down at a restaurant here called Spice Road Table, and ordered lunch and drinks. We ordered cauliflower bites, hummus fries, spiced chicken, and more. This food was one of my favorites of the day and we enjoyed it with refreshingly light sangria. Overall, Morocco was a 9/10. (Below is an image of the cauliflower bites)

After leaving Morocco, we skipped over Japan and the United States. Making our way all the way to Mexico to try the infamous Avocado Margarita (arguably one of the best margaritas I've ever tried). Overall 10/10. We headed back to Norway for a snack and the Viking Coffee (spiked coffee). Our snack was a Lefse (soft flatbread rolled with cinnamon sugar). Overall both the coffee and Lefse were a 7/10. We skipped over China and Germany and headed to Italy for wine. (Below shows Italy in Epcot decorated with flowers for spring).

We ended up spending about two hours in Italy, drinking wine and enjoying Italian food. Overall, the Italian experience was an 8/10. After dinner, we went to Germany for the fireworks show and to get one of our favorite desserts, Werther's caramel popcorn. A MUST TRY, and obviously a 10/10.

Ending the night with fireworks, and great day full of food was exactly what we needed to make it the "happiest place on Earth." :)
