Is it Emily or Elizabeth?

Is it Emily or Elizabeth? That was the question I was constantly asked growing up. But why? Well, my older sister decided to name me after one of the most popular children’s TV shows, Clifford the Big Red Dog (well his owner, Emily Elizabeth of course). It was always a silly question to be asked because I would respond to both names, but I would know immediately who was calling for me depending the name I heard. Elizabeth, she was usually in trouble with my parents, or meeting up with an old friend she hadn’t seen since she was about 8 years old (and that was because in second grade I decided I no longer wanted to write out a nine-letter name on every assignment).
Emily on the other hand, is known to be radiant, energetic, kind, comforting, passionate, charismatic, reliable, etc. Emily is someone who will take the risk, just name the task and she’s there. Emily is a glass-half full type of gal.
And yep, both of those people are me. I even wrote one of my college essays about how I felt like I lived the Hannah Montana double life going by two different names.
On to the good stuff, though. I am a junior at UNC Chapel Hill, double majoring in Advertising/PR and sports administration with a certificate in sports communication. I have a passion for sports, traveling, and helping others. Put those passions together and you’ll find I’m an aspiring social media expert who cannot stay in one place. I enjoy a hustle and currently work 3 jobs alongside two nannying jobs and a full load of classes. As I said before, Emily truly is someone who will take the risk to get what she wants (and about 98% of the time, it works out). So, putting that all together, Emily Elizabeth Snyder is… (you can find that one out for yourself).
