Uber or Scooter?

Well, that was the question of the night.

After arriving in Puerto Rico on March 13th, my friends and I made a plan for the week based on what we wanted to do during our trip. We heard of an area close to our hotel called "La Placita."

It was a happening place. Filled with restaurants, bars, clubs, and more. The perfect hang-out spot for a group of 20 college kids. The only issue we continually ran into was the scarcity of Ubers at night to get from the hotel to this area.

So, being the economically-friendly college kids we are, we figured out a solution to our problem - scooters. Most people have heard of the "Bird" or "Lime" scooters powered by Lyft and Uber. These were the same concept, just a different name.

Scooters have become a major form of transportation in college towns, and many large cities. However, there has been one concern across many places with the scooters - safety.

Luckily, my friends and I all proved to be pro-scooter drivers and we left Puerto Rico with no accidents or injuries. We had quite the adventure on the scooters, so next time you end up somewhere and need a ride - catch a scooter :)
