Why you should NOT fly Frontier

Delays.
When your flight gets delayed and you are with 15 of your closest friends... what should you do while you wait? Well, playing hide-n-seek in the airport was a fun adventure.

Our flight was originally supposed to leave at 8:34 a.m. on Frontier Airlines from RDU to SJU (San Juan, Puerto Rico). About ten minutes before the flight was supposed to board, the flight crew announced a delay because of an issue with the plane. Flight delays are no fun.
It was a Sunday morning too, so not much in the airport was open. After playing two games of hide-n-seek and finding the best hiding spots throughout the airport, we were finally able to board. As someone who does not mind flying, I usually have no issue with turbulence on the plane. However, about two hours into this flight, it was one buuuummmmppyyyy ride.
Up, down, jerk, side to side, up, down, bump. Bump. Bump.

This went on for a solid 20 minutes and no matter what I tried to do to distract myself it wasn't easy because of the sudden movement.
After it finally calmed down, we had about an hour of flight time left. We eventually landed and had a great trip!
Luckily, I was flying American on my second flight. However, the friends I traveled with also flew Frontier home and had a 4-hour delay on the way back.
So, lesson learned. Either prepare for a delay if you fly Frontier, or just avoid it at all costs.
